Shia LaBeouf's Twitter Madness
One example of the madness, he criticized Taylor Swift earlier this month, demeaning her skills as a pop artist even while attempting to make an apology.
"I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Everybody wanna booooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture. No disrespect," he tweeted.
Obviously causing Swift fans to lash out. LaBeouf then followed up the next morning with the following tweet,
"When I woke up from the crazy nightmare I looked in the mirror & said GROW UP SHIA I take responsibility for my actions sorry @taylorswift13"
Also on Dec.16, 2013 when it was acknowledged that Shia plagiarized one of author Daniel Clowe’s novellas, in the interest of his short film Howardcantour.com. Which was a blatant controversy. He tweeted:
"Im embarrassed that I failed to credit @danielclowes for his original graphic novella Justin M. Damiano, which served as my inspiration. I was truly moved by his piece of work & I knew that it would make a poignant & relevant short. I apologize to all who assumed I wrote it." "I deeply regret the manner in which these events have unfolded and want @danielclowes to know that I have a great respect for his work…I f–d up." He tweeted, as expected another apologetic tweet.
This all leads to recent events, and the comeback of the Shia tweeting madness that occurred this week. Shia LaBeouf’s ears didn’t fail him one bit when he heard Jim Carrey’s gig at Sunday night’s golden globes.
"Dying is easy. Comedy is hard….I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that." The comedian quoted, while on stage presenting.
LaBeouf immediately posted on Twitter to express his thoughts (as expected).
"If you explain @JimCarrey you’ve killed him, Nobody knows if it’s for real or not. That way he’s immortal," Shia wrote.
He then posted a YouTube video of Jim’s daughter’s band(who he follows on Twitter), The Jane Carrey Band, and called The Bruce Almighty actor out, by critisizing his parenting skills.
"At least I don’t get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love child’s," he added.
And here comes the flip-flop madness. He apologizes! In attempt to wipe his slate clean.
"Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter’s life—I accept that. Regret tweet on the matter. Apologies to both parents." He wrote.
He retires with more words of Twitter news, posting:
"I am not famous anymore."
Tweeting for attention was proof enough.
